Blind

How do you witness to people who are intent on....

- appealing to their experience (that works in their favour)
- appealing to authority (that works in their favour)
- drowning you out with cusses and swears
- arguing for something by the extreme (one should not take showers, because my friend's daughter's co-worker slipped on a bar of soap and died.)
- playing victim
- attacking your worldview and refusing discussion on statements made
- providing broad assertions (against your worldview) which when challenged on leads to the above?

i experience this one a lot. they refuse to agree on my beliefs and reasoning. so i'd ask them to discard mine (for now), and simply explain theirs (so i can point out how they would eventually contradict themselves, but uh, i don't tell them that), then they just refuse (or care less to) defend their own. so i can't do anything really... my solution has been, to ask God for more opportunities and for God to soften their hearts.

perhaps apologetics will help this saturday? :P
